What are the definitions of the different types of jobs?

Typically an inpatient or residential treatment center is a facility that provides 24 hour care. Group practices and private practice are commonly in an office setting and could provide services mornings through the evening hours. Outpatient jobs commonly provide groups that are in the evening, but they also have day programs.

Other types of jobs include Full-Time (FT) which can be 30-40 hours per week, Part-Time (PT) which is typically less than 30 hours per week and PRN which typically means that you will work on an as needed basis. This could mean a few hours per day or a few hours per week, however we have seen some PRN jobs offer up to 40 hours per week so it would be wise to ask what the hiring manager is looking for in their PRN position.
